Dreamsurges: A New Public Event!

In Patch 10.1.7, Fury Incarnate, a new public event called Dreamsurges will be introduced. The Emerald Dream energies will become visible across the Dragon Isles due to the development of the new World Tree, Amirdrassil. To stave off the Druids of the Flame’s assault on the world tree, champions must band together. It will present fresh difficulties for all players and fantastic catching-up chances for alts. Present fresh difficulties for all players and fantastic catching-up chances for alts. Every week, one of the original four Dragon Isles zones will undergo a Dreamsurge, which will provide you with:

  • Smaller Waking Dream portals for solo and smaller-group play

  • Exceptional enemies in the area have been given extra health, new skills, and rewards.
  • The active zone will serve as the primary focus of World Quests.
  • A weekly task, caches, and treasures in the area drop event currency.

Dawn Of The Infinite Heroic Difficulty

Dawn of the Infinite, as usual after the launch of a brand new Mythic Mega-dungeon, will be separated into 2 parts accessible for Heroic Difficulty. This means we will now have 2 Heroic Dungeons.

The full version of the dungeon’s Mythic difficulty will remain accessible and unaltered. One exception will be The Endless Scales. The Drakewatcher Manuscripts, which give your Dragonriding mount the appearance of Infinite Dragonflight, have been updated to include Scale Color, Hair Color, Horn Color, and Eye Color instead of only Scales and are known as Visage of the Infinite. If you already possess one of these looks, you will receive the new parts for it, too.

Holiday Refresh: Brewfest And Hallows End

Blizzard promised an update to Dragonflight’s yearly Holidays. So, updates for Brewfest and Hallows End are included in Patch 10.1.7, some of which are pretty significant.

Hallows End

The event’s backstory was updated with a new lore questline featuring a redesigned Scarlet Monastery.

Hard Mode will be available for Hallow’s End Headless Horseman dungeon. To activate the extra mechanics, speak with the Wickermen at the main gate to the dungeon. Each of the four Wickermen bestows a distinct curse. You can choose to participate or not, regardless of your group affiliation, as these are personal curses rather than party-wide ones. Kickin’ With the Wick is an achievement that can be obtained by defeating the Horseman when all four curses are active.

Windborne Velocidrake: Hallow's End Armor
Eve's Ghastly Rider

A smiling pumpkin can be added to your saddle with the new Dragonriding cosmetic armor set, Windborne Velocidrake: Hallow’s End Armor.

Eve’s Ghastly Rider, a brand-new broom mount that goes with the Hallow’s End theme, is, in fact, a Trading Post item. Possibly the October Traveler’s Log award. This mount is instant cast during Hallow’s End.

Off-hand, a Candy Bucket was datamined with 10.1.5. With a bit of luck, it will arrive at Hallow’s End.

Brewfest

Brewfest now features a few more cosmetics. The Trading Post will sell a themed back transmog in 2 colors, and the Dragonriding cosmetic armor set, Renewed Proto-Drake: Brewfest Armor, provides a keg to your saddle.

A few of the smaller, one-day festivals should also be noticed. There are two new Dragonriding cosmetic armor sets for Day of the Dead and Pirate’s Day: Highland Drake: Pirates’ Day Armor and Cliffside Wylderdrake: Day of the Dead Armor.

Highland Drake: Pirates' Day Armor and Cliffside Wylderdrake: Day of the Dead Armor.

New Communication System: Pings

Fans of Diablo IV may recognize this new Ping system, which is being added in Patch 10.1.7. This system’s G + Left Mouse Button activates a wheel that lets you send rapid messages such as Attack, Assist, Warning, and On My Way. In the group control menu, pings can only be limited to leaders and assistants. You can find an instructional video by selecting Options.

New Dragonriding Challenge Courses

All across the Dragon Isles, a new kind of Dragonriding course has been added to the Regular, Advanced, and Reverse courses. Each area will have access to the new Challenge Courses, where the challenge is no resource generation. To what extent can you use your Vigor sparingly? How are you handling momentum and gliding? You’ll learn this and more with this challenge!

Itching For Some New Quests And Campaigns? You've got them!

Dragonflight Campaign Questline

Shandris Feathermoon appears in the ongoing campaign, through which she undertakes a mission assigned by the Green Dragonflight to decipher the plans of the Primalists. The tale of the Dreamsurges will come to light when she explores Lunedane’s abandoned citadel.

A Single Wing

The mission of Emberthal’s scouts was to locate Winglord Dezran and the dispersed dracthyr tribes. They discover a group of Sundered Flame who do not know Sarkareth is dead.

No Limits

In their endeavor to mediate peace between Bronze Dragonflight and one of its worst adversaries, Chromie and Nozdormu encounter an unanticipated adventure.

Reforging Tyr Part 3

The quest to search and restore the missing Disc of Tyr introduces players to the reconstruction of Tyr’s Guard—Paladins committed to upholding Tyr’s ideals. You must accomplish the Infinity and Beyond quest in the No Limits questline. Players who complete this questline will receive White Dragonriding Mount Armor and Gold.

New Events

The Kalimdor Cup old world Dragonriding event that took place in Kalimdor. The Eastern Kingdoms Cup is a similar Dragonriding event for the Eastern Kingdoms included in Patch 10.1.7.

  • The Eastern Kingdoms are home to sixteen different races.
  • Every race has three variations: Normal, Advanced, and Reverse.
  • Obtain Riders of Azeroth Badges and use Maztha to trade them for prizes.
  • Take the Holiday Enthusiast outside the Valdrakken bank to begin the first quest.

The dates of the Eastern Kingdoms Cup are October 4–17.

With five weeks of consecutive timewalking and a new stacking experience bonus called the Distilled Knowledge of Timeways, Turbulent Timeways is also returned. A 10-stack buff grants a massive experience boost known as Mastery of Timeways. Obtaining Mastery of Timeways every week of the event grants you access to a new accomplishment called Master of the Turbulent Timeways, which comes with a brand-new mount called the Sandy Shalewing.

Professions In Dragonflight

An update on professions achievements finally brings credit to aficionados in the field. A section dedicated to each profession has been created, and Master of All Achievements has been included for previous expansions. There are 120 new Profession Achievements in all. Some of them are carried over from earlier versions.

Engineers have had unique schematics for every sort of armor for their work headgear for a very long time. For each expansion, completists have innately learned all four, including those they cannot use. That perseverance has paid off, though. An achievement and a transmog version of all 4 sets of aesthetically pleasing goggles, account-wide, non-engineering, and not armor-specific, are now awarded for crafting all 4 goggles for every expansion.
