Despite Bungie keeping details about Season of the Deep close to its chest, data miners and leakers managed to get info about the dungeon that arrives with the upcoming update. In this article, we’re taking a closer look at possible loot that will drop from the game’s new activity.

Dungeon's Main Reward Revealed
Now, all the devs have officially announced are the name of the update (Season of the Deep) that should arrive on May 23 and the arrival of a new dungeon. But thanks to leaks and data miners work, we have more detailed info regarding the upcoming update.
For instance, based on what has been found in the game’s files and a series of leaks that appeared online, there’s a theory that we’ll see the return of Titan, from which we could enter the dungeon. Moreover, we might now know what weapon would drop from the final boss. Though there’s no name yet, leaks suggest that it’ll be an Exotic Solar Rapid-Fire Frame Glaive, making it the sixth Exotic Glaive in the game.
Unfortunately, there are no additional details revealed about the alleged dungeon’s main weapon. However, we have a possible Glaive prototype shared by the Twitter account Destiny Leaks.
Other Dungeon Weapons Arriving in Season of the Deep
Alongside the info about the activity’s Exotic, leakers shared a list of other possible firearms. Just like with the Glaive, we don’t know the name of these weapons yet, but we presumably have their types. Here they are:
- Stasis Wave Framed Breech Grenade Launcher
- Solar Aggressive Framed Submachine Gun
- Stasis Aggressive Framed Rocket Launcher
Furthermore, we also have pictures showing the aforementioned weapons.
Apart from the weapon types, we also know a possible new Origin Trait they will have. It’s called Restoration Ritual and has the following description:
Reviving allies or killing enemies with finishers reloads this weapon and readies an emergency reload for the next time this weapon runs out of ammo.
Sounds rather intriguing, doesn’t it? Guess we’ll have to wait for it to be confirmed and arrive in the game to see it in action.
The Future of the Game's Meta
Apart from revealing what the newest dungeon loot would probably consist of, the leaks might hint at the shift in meta, which will revolve around Solar, Stasis, and probably Arc or Strand. At least, that is what some players and Destiny 2 experts base their guesses on. But these are theories now. All we can do is wait for official announcements from Bungie to see if the leaks will prove to be true.
