Season 2’s finale is already in sight—and it’s warping time itself. The Turbulent Timeways III event is bringing back dungeon-hopping madness, an all-new pirate dragon mount, and the debut of Battle for Azeroth Timewalking. Prepare to grind, rewind, and ride in style.
Turbulent Timeways III: A Dragon Worth Every Week
Table of Contents
The storm of time is swirling again. Turbulent Timeways III is the next installment in World of Warcraft’s time-traveling event series—and it’s bringing a ship’s hold of rewards for those who brave the timeline.
At the heart of the event is a sleek new mount: the Chrono Corsair—a time-dragon outfitted like a high-seas raider. But there’s a catch: to claim this temporal treasure, players must earn progress during five out of six rotating weeks across old expansions.
🏴☠️ Claiming the Chrono Corsair
- Achievement: Master of the Turbulent Timeways III
- Requirement: Earn “Mastery of Timeways” for 5 weeks
- Reward: Chrono Corsair Pirate Dragon Mount
- Progress: Account-wide
Once this reward is live, Master of the Timeways II and its former reward, Timely Buzzbee, will retire—but Buzzbee can still be purchased for 5,000 Timewarped Badges.

Battle for Azeroth Enters the Time Loop
There are different types of PvP matches you can participate in:
- Normal Matches: These are unranked, meaning there are no weekly rewards for wins, but they can still be a good way to practice and get used to the PvP environment.
- Ranked Matches: If you want to earn rewards and climb the ladder, ranked matches are where you should focus your efforts. These matches give you a chance to complete weekly PvP objectives, so they’re a great way to earn extra materials and rewards.
- Solo vs. Team Battles: If you’re unsure of your PvP skills, start with solo matches where you’ll be paired with random players. The matchmaking system isn’t perfect yet, but it’s improving over time. Team-based PvP can be more structured, especially in Guild vs. Guild matches.
