After a rocky launch filled with confusion, Bungie has clarified how dungeon rotations will work during Rite of the Nine. Players initially expected a weekly rotation across the three fan-favorite dungeons, but found themselves stuck with Spire of the Watcher for an extended period. Now, thanks to an official update, we know the full dungeon calendar:
🔁 Full Dungeon Schedule:
- Spire of the Watcher: May 6 – May 27
- Ghosts of the Deep: May 27 – June 17
- Prophecy: June 17 – July 8
- All Dungeons Available: July 8 – July 15
Each dungeon runs for three weeks, leading up to a final one-week free-for-all where every dungeon will be open for farming. This means players have fixed windows to chase loot in a specific dungeon—or can hold out for the big finale.

The scheduling confusion sparked backlash on social media, forums, and Reddit. In response, Dylan Gafner, Bungie’s Principal Communications Manager, confirmed the rotation and acknowledged the miscommunication:
“Dungeons are currently slated to be 3 weeks at a time. Spire > Ghosts > Prophecy, followed by all being available for a final week.”
He also noted that Bungie is aiming to improve future messaging with the Edge of Fate expansion launching in July.
