The Zapthrottle Mote Extractor is one of the most lucrative Engineering Gadgets in World of Warcraft’s history, enabling a novel Gold Making method. This gadget can extract Motes from gas clouds, which can then be combined into Primals. Unlike traditional farming methods that rely on killing mobs or gathering professions, farming with the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor is distinct in that it does not require these activities. However, a high level of Engineering skill is necessary to utilize this technique.
Here’s How Much You Can Make by Selling Primals and Motes

Air | 37g 1s 92c | Dragonblight, Storm Peaks, Icecrown |
Fire | 10g 77s 30c | Dragonblight, Sholazar Basin, Wintergrasp |

Water and Fire from Steam Cloud
Steam Cloud can be found all around the Sholazar Basin. Some can also be found around the Borean Tundra.
