Streets of Tarkov Expansion

Kaban

  • Kaban, a new boss, has been included in EFT. He used to own a modest law firm in the city but was not hesitant to utilize illegal means to get his wealth. He stayed in Tarkov after the mass evacuation, and his gang has expanded.
  • Kaban’s bulkiness enables him to fire multiple firearms without stopping. Still, he can’t be mobile, so he usually remains in place or travels gradually from point A to point B throughout the conflict. He has an abundance of heavily armed guards, some of them are ex-military men who have put together formidable protection for him.
  • The boss stays near the vehicle repair shop on “Streets of Tarkov.” The region is well guarded, with gates protected with fixed machine guns and AGS, walkways mined, and shooters on the roof of the auto repair complex.
  • Kaban stores machine gun boxes in a specialized rig, carries body armor beneath his clothing, and commands absolute power over his guards. Scavs nearby assist the boss with protection and will fight for him.

Kit presets

  • The option to store a gear preset and rapidly equip it has been introduced in EFT. The player can label the preset, choose which one to equip, and view its components and weight while comparing it with different gear sets.
  • The chosen gear set’s screen is separated into 2 tabs:
  • Equipment” will show each of the accessible gear slots;
  • Pouches” that show what’s inside of the rigs, pockets, backpack, and safe container;
  • The chosen equipment set is assembled from matched items in the player’s stash. If the gamer lacks sufficient items in their stash to complete the kit, they can acquire the missing pieces from dealers or at the flea market.
  • The player has access to 15 basic gear sets after creating a character.
  • The user can create up to 50 unique equipment sets.

Random container spawn

  • Containers will start to show up at random places. The total amount of containers has been raised across all locations.
  • Big wooden boxes, some TerraGroup containers, huge cash registers, and filing cabinets will consistently spawn in the same place.

Sidearm quick swap

You can shift weapons faster if the holstered weapon hotkey is pushed twice (key 1 by default). This motion depletes arm stamina, and if inadequate, the weapon trembles. The quantity of arm stamina required on rapid swapping will reduce as you train weapon mastery and coincide with the weapon type skill, and the speed of action will rise.

Improvements to the peaceful behavior of bots

  • Paths for looting containers by Scavs on the “Streets of Tarkov” area have been introduced.
  • During peaceful walking, the barrel of the bots’ rifles gradually oscillates up and down. Bot paths are now somewhat deviated from a straight line between spots, mirroring player movement. Bots revert to “ready” status during battle or in the event of danger.
  • Low-difficulty bots’ reload speed has been slowed.
  • Bots cannot instantaneously rotate anymore. The bot now sits and keeps firing to rotate by a large angle while prone.
  • Bots now examine bodies for guns, rigs, bags, and anything else they can handle. A bot with a backpack and a rig will place them close to the corpse. Bot-taken content is not covered by insurance.
  • Bots may exchange items with a scav player by reaching out to them.
  • Bot vision has been improved at dark. It now correlates to the change in light intensity more accurately. At this particular moment of the day, a flashlight still provides superior visibility.
  • The spawn timing has been corrected on all maps while playing as a scav.

Bot groups

The mechanism for AI Scav groupings has been upgraded. A group of scavs that will function together will now spawn at random. They will be more organized in warfare and will operate as tiny gangs.

Commands to bots

While playing as a Scav, the player gains access to new bot commands. The likelihood that a bot will carry out an order is determined by its Fence Rep. Every command has a cooldown period.

  • Help.” Whenever this command is executed, all bots within a specific radius will travel to the player and get involved in the fight with its adversary.
  • Spread out.” There is a probability that the bots within a decent radius will seek shelter and spread throughout the region.
  • Take cover.” The bot adjacent to the player will most likely take the closest cover.
  • Quiet.” There is a probability that the bots within a fair radius will cease chatting and begin listening.
  • Stop“. The bot adjacent to the player may pause briefly, gaze at the player, and then resume going.
  • When playing as Scav, the order “Follow” may now be issued with a gesture and the words “Follow me.”

QoL

  • The trade, quest, and Ragman services panels now have a new user interface.
  • By tapping on the character slot, the player may instantly wear or substitute an item by selecting one of the accessible items in the stash through a drop-down menu.
  • The FPS meter is no longer overlapping with the raid timer;
  • Clicking twice on consumables activates the item. Regarding functionality, clicking twice is equivalent to selecting the “Use” option from the item’s context menu.
  • You can activate the tactical gadget or helmet-mounted lights by hitting the H key. By hitting the CTRL + H key combination, you may change the mode of tactical gadgets.
  • The number of available OpsCore helmet rails and 6B47 helmet mods has been increased.
  • When utilizing the first aid kit and other medical supplies while holding the 4-0 hotkeys, a drop-down list of bodily sections to treat will show. The list reveals the character’s injuries when utilizing the first aid kit. The bodily portions the item may repair are displayed when employing other medicinal goods. To enable it, change the hotkey mode to “release”;
  • New pictures have been added to the loading screens.

Gun Stand

The Hideout now features a new “Weapon Stand” module. The stand has three pumping levels. Every level has different weaponry (Level 1 has 108 cells, Level 2 has 132 cells, and Level 3 has 182 cells). Only weapons with all vital components can be put on the Weapon Stand’s shelves.

A quick sale of Scav’s gear

Scav’s gear exchange screen now includes a “Sell Equipment” option. After extraction as a scav, the player can sell all his equipment, even cash that Fence does not ordinarily buy.

Improved display of the crafting process

  • The module’s symbol, where the crafting occurs, has animation and a color indicator.
  • The completed craft now appears first in the module list;
  • You will be sent to the module with a ready-for-pickup item when you click on the full craft counter.

Graphics and performance

  • The anesthetic’s visual effect has been modified.
  • On Tarkov Streets, a new fog rendering method has been applied.
