Season 22 is full of hidden puzzles and activities that players can stumble upon. Today we’ll talk about one such activity that can be found in the place called the Imbaru Engine. This guide will tell you how to unlock the activity and how to complete each puzzle with ease for fast access to Witch’s Engrams, Keys and other rewards.

How To Unlock The Imbaru Engine?
All you need to do is complete the week five of the “The Bladed Path” seasonal quest. This quest is activated as soon as you log into the game. Once done, the activity will become available from the H.E.L.M. right next to the Altars of Summoning.
There are no enemies and no modifiers of any sort, so I won’t matter what loadout you’re going to bring with you. There’s also no matchmaking for this activity, but then again, it’s very much doable solo.
Neuvillette is anticipated to be a formidable Hydro DPS, wielding a Catalyst. His gameplay revolves around his Empowered Charged Attacks, which can deal massive damage. His Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst are also expected to unleash significant AoE Hydro damage. However, there’s a potential nerf on the horizon for Neuvillette. The scaling of his first passive, which increases damage upon triggering elemental reactions, might be reduced from 130% to 125% with two stacks. His signature weapon is also expected to undergo changes, with a potential increase in HP by 16% and a boost in Charged Attack DMG by 14% for four seconds.
The Cunning Test - Walkthrough
Being the only puzzle currently available in this activity (with others to be added later in the season), Cunning has three stages. The objective is always the same – you got to open chests with the correct symbol. If you open the wrong chest – your Guardian dies. With that being said, let’s get started.
Section 1: Identifying the Spider Symbol
Upon initiating the Cunning Test, you’ll be greeted by two chests placed right before you, each sitting on a plate showcasing a unique Hive symbol. Your goal here is to identify and open the chest marked with the ‘spider’ symbol, characterized by a diagonal slash at every corner. Be cautious! Opening the incorrect chest will result in your character’s demise after a brief delay.
Section 2: Ascending to the Raised Platform
Successfully unlocking the first spider-symbol chest will trigger the appearance of a second set of chests. These are located behind you on an elevated platform. This time, you are tasked with opening two chests, both adorned with the same spider symbol. To identify the safe chests, examine the nearby symbols. Unlocking both will pave the way to the final challenge.
Section 3: Navigating the Arena of Chests
The concluding section of the test presents a more intricate challenge, spawning approximately a dozen chests within the arena. Among these, only three hold the key to your safe passage. You have two strategies at your disposal:
- Brute Force Approach: Open each chest, enduring repeated deaths until the correct trio is discovered.
- Observant Approach: Patiently search for adjacent chest symbols, each located within a 5m radius. If not immediately visible, explore nearby walls or concealed rooms. Reference the provided example locations to gauge potential spawn points.
Unlocking the three correct chests will mark the successful completion of the Cunning Puzzle in the Imbaru Engine activity. Good luck!
