Changes and Fixes in Update 7.1.0.3

With the release of Destiny 2 Update 7.1.0.3 on June 27th, some changes and improvements have been brought to the gaming community’s attention. Aimed at facilitating various issues and enhancing various game aspects, this update sparked keen anticipation amongst the Destiny 2 followers.

A pivotal emphasis of this update has been to augment the Crucible experience. Players have expressed their satisfaction over the resolution of the Powerlifter Triumph bug, which can now only be accomplished after gilding the Glorious Seal. Additionally, matchmaking times at high-skill tiers have been optimized to minimize the waiting period and expedite player participation in competitive matches.

Another notable game mode, Trials of Osiris, has also changed. Certain hindrances at the third step of the introductory quest that barred player access have now been eliminated. Moreover, the update has amplified the drop rate of Adept weapons on 7-win cards for players who have scored a Flawless that week, making the Trials of Osiris more rewarding and accessible for proficient players.

Nightfall Adept Weapons

Advancements have also been made in the domain of Raids and Dungeons. The issue that caused players to respawn outside the final encounter’s arena in “Ghosts of the Deep” has been resolved. The player experience has been further smoothed out by rectifying the inability to access the Commendations screen in both The Last Wish Raid and upon completing a Deep Dive activity.

Ghosts of the Deep

Various facets of gameplay and investment have also been attended to. Modifications to armor included the amendment of the Cenotaph Mask’s description, providing players with precise details about its perk behavior. Furthermore, issues with Khepri’s Horn and the Couturier Longcoat ornament have been addressed to ensure proper functionality and display.

Weapon balancing and bug fixes were other highlights of Update 7.1.0.3. It was heartening for players to note the resolution of issues with Sweet Business and Telesto, such that their explosions no longer damaged enemies through walls or other geometry. The sound effects of Hollow Denial, which had previously been problematic for players with Semicircular Canal Dehiscence (SSCD), have been adjusted. Also, correctly unlocking the Bump in the Night pattern requires the Season 17 entitlement.

Red War Exotic

Other general refinements encompassed solutions to slowdowns in the Eververse tab on PC and problems with Red War Exotic focusing. Localization issues, specifically concerning the Chinese version, were also settled to ensure accurate synchronization of audio and subtitles.

With the introduction of Destiny 2 Update 7.1.0.3, a wide array of enhancements and fixes were implemented, aimed at improving Crucible matchmaking, accessibility and rewards of Trials of Osiris, Raids and Dungeons experiences, gameplay, and investment aspects, in addition to general quality-of-life improvements. This showcases Bungie’s dedication to addressing player feedback and its continued commitment to refining the game to provide a captivating and enjoyable experience for the Destiny 2 community.
