Destiny 2: Acosmic GSP God Roll Guide (2023)

The Festival of the Lost introduced many exciting features and additions, which we can enjoy while the event is live. Among these is the brand-new Acosmic GSP Grenade Launcher, which piqued players’ interest immediately. So, if you want to know how you can get your hands on this weapon, as well as what perks to look for to get god rolls for both PvE and PvP, our guide is here to share all the details. Let’s roll!

TABLE OF CONTENTS

How to Obtain Acosmic GSP

Acosmic GSP is a Legendary Grenade Launcher with the Void elemental power that can deal damage pretty fast due to being a Rapid-Fire Frame archetype. Since it’s one of the Festival of the Lost weapons, it can be acquired only during this time-limited event, so you have until November 7 to do so.

Actually, there are multiple ways you can get your hands on Acosmic GSP. One of them is the Cryptozoologist and Pumpkin Peltin’ challenges. For the former, you need to use a Manifested Page to restore a chapter in ‘Tales of the Forgotten – Vol. 3.’ and for the latter, you must defeat targets with Grenade Launchers. Completing these challenges drops the weapon guaranteed.

Alternatively, you can complete Haunted Lost Sectors that reward you with the event’s weapons, including Acosmic, which makes this method a great source for farming. And by transforming Spectral Pages into Manifested Pages in the Book of the Forgotten, you can increase the weapon drop rates.

Moreover, you can earn the exclusive Festival of the Lost currency called Eerie Engram and convert them through Hocus Focusing with the help of our favorite space grandma, Eva Levante. This will cost you 1 Eerie Engram and 1000 candies.

Either of the aforementioned ways can be used to get the coveted Acosmic GSP. And now let’s talk about what god rolls you should focus on once you obtain the weapon.

Acosmic GSP God Roll for PvE

If you want to succeed in any PvE activity equipped with a new weapon, here are the recommended perks for that:

  • Volatile Launch: Significantly increase blast radius.
  • Spike Grenades: Provides Stability and increased damage on enemies upon direct hits.
  • Clown Cartridge: Grants random overflow upon reloading the weapon.
  • Explosive Light: Gives up to 60% increased damage on enemies with maximum stacks. These stacks can be increased by collecting orbs of light.

Alternatively, you can use Destabilizing Rounds for clearing trash mobs instead of Explosive Light.

Acosmic GSP God Roll for PvP

For excelling in PvP scenarios, look for the following perks in the weapon:

  • Confined Launch: Increases Stability and Blast Radius.
  • High-Velocity Rounds: Boosts projectile speed.
  • Impulse Amplifier: Improves projectile velocity and reload speed.
  • High Ground: Increases damage upon attacking from a higher ground.

Instead of an Impulse Amplifier, you can use Quickdraw. With this set of perks, you will be ready for any challenge in PvP.

This is definitely not for me, just because how it looks. I like the guns that are more attuned to the style of the game. This one just looks ridiculous and out of place.
