Destiny 2 Pantheon Walkthrough Guide

Guardians, ready your weapons and gather your fireteam; it’s time to face the ultimate PvE challenge in Destiny 2’s Pantheon, a gauntlet of the most formidable raid bosses that will test your skills, strategy, and teamwork like never before.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

What is the Pantheon?

The Pantheon is not just another activity; it’s a series of epic encounters that will push you to your limits. It started on April 30. Every week, the challenge intensifies, adding one new boss each time until the final week of May 21, when two bosses will be introduced. It’s a relentless climb to glory that only the bravest Guardians will dare to ascend.

Pantheon will have 4 variations, each one with different encounters and Power lvl requirements. So, you will have to go play with your pals or use the Fireteam Finder to gather your team, as matchmaking will not work.

Week by Week, Boss by Boss

Starting with a power cap of +5, the Pantheon kicks off with four notorious bosses from Destiny’s storied raids. As weeks progress, new bosses join the fray, culminating in a staggering eight-boss lineup with a power cap of +20. The challenge modes will feature different modifiers, one of them called Shot Caller. This will boost your Heavy and Special ammo so you can inflict various precision hits through your primary.

Dominate with The Right Strategy!

Success in the Pantheon requires more than firepower. You’ll need to adapt your strategies, communicate with your team, and throw conventional tactics out the window. Keep an eye on the bonus timer for extra points, and remember, achieving a Platinum score could net you those adept weapons you’ve been eyeing.

  • Learn The Boss Fights: Pantheon bosses have complex mechanics, so it’s crucial to be confident with each fight before joining a group. There is no room for error on the harder difficulties.
  • Bring A Variety Of Loadouts: The Pantheon varies in bosses, demanding different strategies. For example, Atraks-1 requires burst damage, so weapons like Parasite are best, while Rhulk is more of an endurance fight, needing greater total damage.
  • Be Aware Of The New Mechanics: Pantheon fights include new features that can cause disruptions. Being aware of these can help you deal with unexpected challenges.
  • Coordinate with Your Fireteam: Assign roles for each encounter and communicate clearly to overcome mechanics and challenges.
  • Maximize DPS: Utilize meta weapons and builds to maximize your damage per second (DPS). This is crucial for taking down bosses efficiently.
  • Adapt Strategies: Be ready to adapt your strategies based on the weekly modifiers and Power Level handicaps.
  • Use Subclass Verbs Wisely: For example, Solar Warlock’s Well of Radiance is necessary for restoration, cure, and radiant abilities. Choose your subclass verbs like Restoration, Cure, Woven Mail, Devour, Invisibility, Void Overshield, and Weaken to match the demands of the encounter.

Remember, these tips are just a starting point. Each encounter in the Pantheon may require its own unique approach, so flexibility and teamwork are key. Good luck, Guardian! 🌟
