These points can be used to purchase powerful PvP gear and other rewards. The new PvP zone, Tol Barad, will offer dynamic battles and daily quests for additional rewards. Tol Barad is not just a battleground but also an open-world PvP zone similar to Wintergrasp, providing opportunities for both structured and spontaneous PvP encounters.
Also players will be able to enjoy two new battlegrounds. Itching for some 10v10 action? Then Twin Peaks is the perfect option for you! A capture-the-flag similar to Warsong Gulch, its launch date is May 29, along with the PvP Season 9. Missing Arathi Basin? The Battle for Gilneas is pretty similar! It is also a 10v10 where you must capture and hold points. This will grant you resources and other materials.
Revamped Zones and Flying in Azeroth
One of the most exciting changes is revamping all Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor zones, featuring new quests, NPCs, and enemies. There is also a slight revamp going on for the Darkmoon Faire. The Darkmoon Faire will occur in a new zone known as Darkmoon Island in addition to its old venues in Mulgore and Elwynn Forest.
Fixated on that Darkmoon Dancing Bear mount? You can obtain it with the new Currencies for unique Companions and Mounts! Besides that, you’ll also get new minigames and quests.
Players can also earn the Flight Master’s License, a valuable item that allows flying mounts to be used across these continents and Deepholm. This license not only provides a faster means of travel but also opens up new exploration opportunities and shortcuts, making your journey through the new Cataclysm Classic Zones more efficient and enjoyable.
