TABLE OF CONTENTS
Who is Revenant in Apex Legends?
Revenant was first featured in Season 4. He costs 12,000 Legend Tokens/750 Apex Coins, however, during this season, players will be able to play him for free. You can add him permanently to your roaster in exchange for completing a series of challenges.
Revenant was once a human called Kaleb Cross, a professional assassin employed by the Mercenary Syndicate and highly prized by them. He was repeatedly brought back from near death by transforming him into the simulacrum he is now. He is over 300 years old and has no memory from his human life until a bug in his code revealed it to him. He unexpectedly loses his abilities throughout a match and realizes they were just swapped with new ones. Someone, somewhere, appears to have initiated a new procedure in his system. He is embittered and confused, so he swears to get revenge upon whoever is mocking him.
Revenant’s passive: Assassin’s Instinct
- It increases the speed of the Revenant’s wall climb and crouch.
- He can detect and label adversaries with low health in a short radius surrounding him.
Revenant’s Tactical Ability: Shadow Pounce
- It enables Revenant to narrow the gap between himself and his prey quickly. You can charge it up to jump even further.
Revenant’s Ultimate Ability: Forged Shadows
After charging Forged Shadows, Revenant can make a shroud of shadows surrounding him. They will enhance his hit box and take numerous damage blows before being knocked down.
Charge Rifle Reworks
The Charge Rifle has been revamped and will be available during the Apex Games! This famed weapon no longer emits a continuous beam of light. It now has an Extended Sniper Mag attachment slot, and its firing mechanisms have been modified.
The Charge Rifle will no longer feature hit-scan but will be projectile-based. It’s worth mentioning that this implies the pistol now has bullet drop, which must be considered when utilizing it.
Holding down the trigger enhances the weapon’s charge while releasing it lowers it. When fully charged, a vital energy projectile is released, doing damage that increases with distance. This missile can penetrate numerous enemy legends simultaneously, so remember who your pals are!
Mix Tape: Broken Moon
New TDM And Gun Run Map: The Core
The Broken Moon is making an appearance in the Mixtape! The Core is set to be a thrilling new battlefield for Gun Run and TDM. As controlling the central building gives you a decent height and a broad line of sight, you’ll have to struggle to occupy this position. You can also reach the outer ring to have greater accessibility to Care Packages.
The Core is a tad larger than what players may be accustomed to. Zip tracks allow gamers to easily spin towards the action, while broad sightlines encourage a different type of gameplay and weapon meta than the various more intimate, scrappier maps.
New Control Map: Production Yard
Unlike our previous Broken Moon map for Mixtape, Production Yard offers an intense, gritty experience in confined spaces. There are a lot of boxes and cover to dive behind, as well as narrow paths to set up defenses or traps.
The combat pace is fast on this level, including Broken Moon’s Zip rails, and players may easily switch between offense and defense at any time. Players can find a variety of methods for sheltering and covering angles, as well as stealthy back caps employing zip rails and corners.
What Type Of Updates Are Coming To Ranked?
Matchmaking is being tightened, LP gains were adjusted, and eliminations have become a stable contributor to your Apex leveling. Check out more details below:
Ranked Reward Rework
Before, gamers who could reach a Diamond+ Apex Legends rank received access to an exclusive Dive Trail throughout the season. Because of this, players will either purposefully steer clear of the Ranked Dive Trail or, on the contrary, will actively seek it to pursue other players—thus affecting where users want to land or not.
- Because of this, it has been decided that the reward will be exchanged for an Epic Banner Frame.
- This will give you some bragging rights at the beginning of each match and each time they eliminate an opponent.
- You can still receive Apex Legends rank Badges, Holosprays, and Weapon Cosmetics as Apex Legends ranked rewards.
Community Sticker Bundle
From the 8th until the 22nd of August, you can acquire an incredible community sticker bundle presenting a wide array of stickers made by Ryonello (some even holographic!).
Death Dynasty Collection Event
This Resurrection event will be released this season, and players can get twice the XP in Battle Royale from August 8th to 15th. Also, later, during Mixtape, from August 15th to 22nd.
Collection Event Items
You have 24 limited-time cosmetics at your disposal. Get them before they expire! There will be Legendary skins for Catalyst, Loba, and much more! You can get them in exchange for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals. Also, you can obtain them during the Death Dynasty Event in exchange for Apex Packs. And remember, if you obtain the 24 items, you’ll acquire a Revenant’s Death Grip Heirloom set!
Reward Tracker
You can obtain a maximum of 1,600 points each day. Apex Legends challenges rotate daily, and they pile up with your Battle Pass. That way, you can accomplish different challenges at once. You can also accomplish extra goals to receive 3 special event badges; if you complete all of them, you’ll acquire a 4th badge!
Store Tab
Keep an eye out for limited offers in the Store Tab! Also, follow the weekly offers throughout the Death Dynasty Collection Event.
