Classic Map Reimagined
Season 3 will add 4 new maps to the game, including 6v6 Pelayo’s Lighthouse with an Easter Egg that veterans will undoubtedly enjoy. The content creator FaZe Dirty has already explored the new area and shared an extended gameplay of it, where it took a few seconds for players to recognize a main building from the Estate map that’s featured in the original Modern Warfare 2.
The location serves as a library on the new map, and though it’s the only thing that associates Pelayo’s Lighthouse with a classic area, fans have already praised the devs for bringing a familiar location to the game. However, there’s more.
The Return of Intervention
Besides the house from the Estate map, players will be pleased to know that the fan-favorite Intervention Sniper Rifle is coming to Modern Warfare II Season 3, too. But in this update, it’s known as FJX Imperium, which can be unlocked via Battle Pass.
FaZe Dirty has also tried out the new weapon, so you can see it in action in his video above. Apart from FJX Imperium, players will be able to get their hands on Cronen Squall Battle Rifle, which also can be unlocked through Battle Pass.
