TABLE OF CONTENTS

The Elemental Lariat

Dragonflight has a lot of crafting items with special effects which many players dream to get. One of the most famous and popular of these items is the Elemental Lariat. This necklace has a very powerful proc effect and is, therefore, one of the best for many types of characters. The necklace triggering effect greatly increases the stat bonus of any elemental gem inlaid in it for 12 sec.

After Season 1, the developers have decided to weaken this item, and its duration will be reduced to 5 seconds. Still, each elemental gem inlaid into the character’s gear will increase it by 1 second. Basically, the Elemental Lariat will become generally weaker, especially if the player has not yet encrusted it with additional gems.

Crafting Professions

Among the WoW PvP changes, crafting professions will become a bit more interesting. New Optional Reagents will appear in the game, allowing you to turn rare and epic craft items into a PvP armor with PvP item level. You can buy these materials from vendors in Waldrakken:

  • Rare Emblems of Heroism are sold by Selterex for Honor points. They are set at 437 PvP lvl.
  • Epic Trophies of Conquest are sold by Calderax for Conquest points. They are set at 450 PvP lvl.

Each reagent has three versions with different prices.

Item Levels In Professions

With the new Optional Reagents, players can craft powerful items, lvling up their profession in the process. Among them, we have Titan Training Matrix V, Spark of Shadowflame, and Enchanted Whelpling’s Shadowflame Crest, which can be crafted by enchanters from normal crests. That way, items up to a lvl 447 can be crafted with enough luck and skill.

New Profession Recipes In The Aberrus Raid

We can now find in the encounter journal new profession recipes, which can be obtained in the Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible raid encounters. However, they will drop only from specific bosses, marking a difference from how things used to work in Vault of the Incarnates. This might result in a much more focused, unique crafting patterns farm and a less dispersed loot pool. Below you’ll find a table listing these patterns under each individual boss.

New Enchanted Crests Recipe

The 4 Infusions of Power recipes for Enchanting were subtly altered. Both Enchanters and buyers require an Alchemist for Dracothyst if they wish to create a couple of such infusions. We also have two new Enchanted Crests which can be used in Epic gear:

Earlier, enchanting recipes only needed the BoP looted Crests and a small number of materials. However, now Enchanted Aspect’s Shadowflame Crest demands 2x Dracothyst. Likewise, Enchanted Wyrm’s Shadowflame Crest demands 1x  Dracothyst. They both still require enchanting materials, but only half of what was previously needed.

Titan Training Matrix V and Enchanted Whelpling’s Shadowflame Crest won’t require this BoP gem. The Matrix’s recipe hasn’t changed, and the Enchanted Whelpling’s Shadowflame Crest was only vaguely altered.

As for Looted, Non-enchanted Crests, you’ll need to accomplish different kinds of activities in order to acquire them. The rewards will vary depending on the difficulty. You may use them to upgrade Non-crafted items.

The New BoP Reagent

We are talking about Dracothyst. This object was initially only utilized in a select few crafts, such as:

  • the new Engineering Tinker
  • the Alchemy Cauldrons
  • Jewelcrafting Embellishments and toy

However, it has now become a BoP reagent, essential for both Enchanted Aspect’s Shadowflame Crest and  Enchanted Wyrm’s Shadowflame Crest.

Dracothyst Transmutes

You can create it with the help of Alchemy Transmute, Transmute: Dracothyst. It will cost you 250 Zaralek Glowspores and 50 Silken Gemdust for each gem. However, we still don’t know how to obtain its recipe.

Although this gem doesn’t have any special qualities, an alchemist can proc Multicraft and/or Resourcefulness while crafting it. Non-alchemists, on the other hand, will need someone else to craft it for them. Remember that at the current time, this recipe has a cooldown time of day.

Dracothyst Shards

You can craft Dracothyst with x10 Dracothyst Shard, which are BoP. Nonetheless, we still don’t know how to acquire them. But they are sure to be a useful way of obtaining a Dracothyst without needing an alchemist.

Jeeves The Robot Butler

Until now, one of the most beloved and striking engineering bells and whistles in WoW was Jeeves, the robot butler. Even today, many engineers strive to build this little Wrath of the Lich King comrade to use its useful features. A similar robot was introduced in Legion in the form of Fel Reaver. Now, in Dragonflight, a new one will appear – a mechanical dragon. We are talking about Winston the Whelpling, which will require the Schematic: Winston the Whelpling.

Winston the Whelpling

While there are no details about how to obtain this recipe and the materials required for it, numerous upgrade modules have been discovered that open up additional useful functions to it:

Additional details and possible improvements will most likely appear in the near future.
