Destiny 2’s Season of The Deep: Six Potent God Roll Weapons to Boost Your Arsenal

Destiny 2’s Season of The Deep has brought about an array of tantalizing God Rolls, ones every dedicated Guardian should be crafting. With their superb traits, these highly coveted legendary weapons offer an elevated experience for both PvE and PvP play. This article will delve into some powerful God Rolls you can craft to elevate your gameplay!

Six God Rolls You May Want To Craft In Seasons Of The Deep

Here you’ll find 6 weapons in total. Many of them have some fresh-from-the-oven perks that could come in handy, whether you’re battling it out in PvP or PvE. While this selection might not feel like love at first sight, we’ll need to give them some time to see how they perform in the heat of the game. What’s particularly surprising is that most of these are categorized as Stasis/Strand, while the older Reckoning weapons leaned more towards the light subclasses. This might be a move to spice up the thematic mix or simply to level the playing field between Stasis, Strand, and light weapons. Time will tell!

Let’s unearth the potential of these God Roll weapons and why they deserve a spot in your arsenal:

  • Subsistence/Hatchling: Hatchling is an essential perk for any Strand weapon, and Different Times is no exception when it comes to it. A new Pulse Rifle PvE buff has made this more feasible.
  • Outlaw/Collective Action: A new perk called Collective Action allows you to throw a Tangle or pick up an elemental to deal more damage. This seems like it might work great with the new Warlock Tangle feature.
  • Moving Target or Heating Up/Headseeker: If you can take Graviton Lance off, you can make this PvP roll which should result in a pretty awesome pulse rifle play.
  • Autoloading Holster/Vorpal: There is no hatchling in this god roll, which means you won’t be able to blast your foes at close-range. But in PvE, this combination works exceptionally well with older shotgun buffs.
  • Threat Detector/Surrounded: With previous Surrounded Buffs, this is a good alternative for CQC. However, you can roll this with almost any shotgun.
  • Overflow/Collective Action: This shotgun is not fit for PvP rolls. Elemental pickup should also work, so you still use a new perk.
  • Triple Tap/Focused Fire: They will synergize well enough.
  • Moving Target/Opening Shot or Discord: Unfortunately, this rifle is not particularly thrilling. This is a PvP roll, as A Distant Pull doesn’t work well in PvE (with some exotic exceptions).

  • Fourth Time/Target Lock: This is a reasonably strong combo, particularly on bigger targets, as you can enhance the perk. This is not what Submachine Guns are used for, though.
  • Envious Assassin/Headstone: Aggressive SMGs require all the assistance they can get due to their small magazine size, so this sounds like an awesome combo.
  • Well-Rounded/Frenzy: Well Rounded received some good buffs, so you’ll acquire a bunch of ability kills with this meta. Mix it with Frenzy bonuses, and you’ll get quite a number of stats.

  • Outlaw/Destabilizing Rounds: This is one of the first Hand Cannons able to roll Destabilizing Rounds, so don’t waste that chance!
  • Envious Assassin/Explosive Rounds: A big magazine followed by blasting your foes with Explosive Rounds can be entertaining, try it yourself!
  • Outlaw/Keep Away: This handgun has few good PvP rolls, so take advantage of this one if you can.
  • Relentless Strikes/Hatchling: If you try anything besides Hatchling, this Strand Sword can become pretty monotonous, as other weapons can easily replace it. However, with Hatchling, it can be very enjoyable. It is not an actual DPS alternative compared to other weapons, but it’ll do the trick!
